I’d be happy to take some requests for hair retextures right now, if anybody’s interested.



All right, I’m happy. I gradient-ed the two textures together so that the original hair (lighter roots, darker ends) had the darker roots of the second texture. Then I fooled with the texture in some spots a little, et voila! Now to bin and take pictures. :)

Blonde hair in particular is always lighter on the ends, not the roots. Both of them are gorgeous.

Thank you guys for answering. I think I may end up just retexturing the entire thing again. Or somehow combining the two. I like the darker roots and lighter tips of 2, but I like the variation in shades on 1. IDK. Here it is again in depth charge:

Did the laptop already have Belladonna Cove on it? Maybe you have to delete that one first, then add the one from the desktop. Or if that doesn’t work, try renaming it to N150 or something

Yes, although I’d never played it before. Installation fresh. I did delete that one—or all of the content within it—and replaced it with the contents of the E001 folder from my desktop. It disappeared from the menu after that.

I’ll have to try renaming it. Thanks for the suggestion!



TS2 Question 

Hey, does anyone know if it’s possible to restore a backup of a Maxis neighborhood (Belladonna Cove, in my case)?

I want to move the Belladonna Cove from the family desktop to my laptop, and when I tried to do it by dropping the E001 neighborhood folder (from the desktop) into my game (on the laptop), Belladonna Cove was no longer listed in the neighborhood menu browser when I started up the game.
